We recently completed a real estate drone photography project in Point Loma, San Diego for Cypress View Properties, Inc.
The project included a minimum of 10 professionally edited high-resolution aerial photos and an approximately 30-second video designed to help showcase the property online.
This Point Loma home featured wide views, several outdoor decks, and a strong outdoor living area, making it a good fit for aerial photography and drone video.

How Drone Media Helped Show the Property
The aerial photos and short video helped show how the home, deck space, views, and surrounding neighborhood fit together.

Drone Photography Challenges for This Project
This Point Loma real estate drone shoot required extra planning because the property had several location-specific challenges.
- Restricted airspace: The property was near the San Diego International Airport flight path, so LAANC authorization was required before the shoot. Approval limited the drone to 50 feet.
- Bird activity: Territorial seagulls and hummingbirds were active around the property, which required extra awareness during low-altitude flights.
- May Gray weather: Overcast skies created soft, even lighting, but the flat gray sky was not ideal for the bright coastal look often preferred in real estate marketing.
- Power lines and obstacles: Nearby power lines and property features limited some flight paths, so drone positioning had to be planned carefully.
AI-Enhanced Real Estate Photo and Video Examples
After the original media was delivered, Drone Company San Diego also created a few AI-enhanced examples to show how the visuals could be adjusted for a cleaner real estate presentation.
These examples included both real estate photos and a short behind-the-scenes video with AI video enhancements. Some of these edits could also be done manually in Photoshop or video editing software, but AI tools helped speed up production time and create quick visual examples.
When real estate images or videos are digitally altered, disclosure may be required depending on how much the media was changed and how it will be used in the listing.

The goal was not to misrepresent the property.
San Diego has amazing sunsets, but this shoot was not one of those days. The examples were created to show how AI tools can improve the visual presentation while still keeping the property realistic.
