Drone Company San Diego provided post-construction aerial photography of Harbor Drive and its road bridge in downtown San Diego, documenting completed work by Michels Corporation.
This project is part of our construction drone photography services, helping contractors capture completed jobsites and create a visual record of their work.
After more than three years of construction, having the road and bridge back in service was a welcome relief for San Diegans who regularly travel this stretch of the downtown waterfront.
Our aerial photos document the roadway after construction and show how it connects with the surrounding rail corridor, waterfront facilities, and downtown streets.

Documenting the Completed Roadway and Bridge
Our aerial coverage followed approximately 3,000 feet of East Harbor Drive, from near 1709 Main Street toward the Hilton San Diego Bayfront parking garage.
We captured the roadway and bridge from multiple angles to document the pavement, lane markings, medians, mulch and landscaping, along with the bridge deck and visible support columns.
Wider views show how the project fits into the surrounding waterfront and rail corridor, with the Hilton Bayfront and Harbor Drive Pedestrian Bridge providing recognizable landmarks.
Together, these images give the client a record of the completed site for project documentation, stakeholder updates, and future proposals or marketing.
