Drone Company San Diego provided aerial photography, aerial video, and video editing for a billboard campaign displayed at seven locations throughout San Diego County.
The campaign was created for the Samuel Lawrence Foundation in partnership with SaveArtSpace.
The billboards used public art to bring attention to environmental safety, nuclear waste management, and the protection of California’s coastlines.
The project included photographing and filming each billboard from the air, followed by editing the footage into a short video highlighting the campaign across San Diego County.
Seven Billboard Locations Across San Diego County
The campaign appeared in Allied Gardens, the Midway District, Rolando Park, San Ysidro, Shelltown, Spring Valley, and Stockton.
Each location offered a different setting for the campaign. Aerial photography and video captured the billboards within their surrounding neighborhoods while creating a consistent visual record of the project.

SaveArtSpace is a nonprofit public art organization that places artwork on billboard spaces and creates exhibitions focused on social change and community engagement.
